NATIONAL TEA PARTY: Nationalism and the Sleeping Giant

Nationalism

Following the close of WWI and WWII and the collapse of colonialism rampant nationalism swept through Africa, the middle east and Asia. This movement was hailed by most liberals and progressives in the west while at the same time these same voices began to condemn the old nationalism of Europe and the United States. For these progressives patriotism was OK for the newly emerging states, but not for the old nations of western Europe and the United States. This double standard quickly gained support in the west and spun out-of-control in western Europe leading to the ascendancy of the EU. In America this movement gained strength, but its inroads were not on the European scale.

Then came 9/11 and the world, particularly the west was jolted. Many began to see new threats: first the obvious one of radical Islam and next a somewhat more obscure one, "a lack of nationalism in the west". Slowly it became evident that national pride had been diminished and replaced with the new multiculturalism that recognized no national boundaries. And it was this new multiculturalism that provided the breeding ground for yet another emerging force that of "Pan-Islamic Nationalism". An old enemy of the west that had once been vanquished was raising its ugly head again and threatening not only western Europe, but also the new world.

Until 9/11 western Europe had stood virtually alone against the onslaught of this new enemy as most Americans were unaware of this new danger. 9/11 changed everything, but the entrenched forces of liberalism and multiculturalism in Europe and America will not go quietly into the night. Their Utopian dream of a world without borders will not be easily brushed aside.

The tide appears to be turning as a new nationalism, a new pride in country and tradition is growing in Europe; while at the same time the patriotism of many Americans is being revitalized. To paraphrase Admiral Yamamoto, "this new enemy has awakened a sleeping giant and filled him with a terrible resolve", America and her friends in Europe have had enough and our gates are no longer open to those who would trample our traditions. A new patriotism, a new national pride is being born in the west and soon the forces of multiculturalism and pan-Islamic nationalism will feel the wrath of this sleeping giant.

THE NATIONAL TEA PARTY FEDERATION RISES TO THE BAIT!

The MSM is always quick to rise to the bait of the many race-baiter's out there, but usually those on the right are able to restrain themselves. This caution however was tossed to the wind recently when the National Tea Party Federation swallowed hook, line and sinker that foul smelling bait concocted by the NAACP and its minions.  Despite its formidable sounding name, the National Tea Party Federation, is but a minor player in the Tea Party movement and after last weeks moves by its now infamous leaders it will soon see its few remaining members jumping ship.

Yes, the race-baiters have reeled in one, but it isn't a keeper.  Some damage has been done to the over all Tea Party movement, but in the end the movement will be stronger.  I would urge those in the Federation to rid themselves of their leadership and continue their support of the principles laid down by the real founders of the Tea Party Movement---the American people!  Remember there are always, always a few rogue leaders who will seek self-importance over underlying principles!

The Purging of Mark Williams

Recently the National Tea Party Federation, one the many but lesser know elements in the movement expelled the Tea Party Express and Mark Williams over a satirical parody they considered over the top and racist.  Then, in fact purged Mark Williams, taking a page from the old playbook of Joseph Stalin and in doing so plunged a dagger into the very heart and soul of the Tea Party Movement.  The tea party was born out of dissent and the freedom to express ones opinion and without that freedom would not exist today.  It would seem that David Webb and others in positions of leadership at the National Tea Party Federation have forgotten what the tea party stands for and it is they that should be removed from their positions of leadership, but not purged from the organization as they would have others purged from it.  Purging in not the American way, it is not the tea party way and shame on those who would employ the methods of our enemy and thereby play right into his hands.  The enemies of the tea party have won a victory today, but it will be short lived as the members of the movement show their displeasure with the likes of  David Webb and those around him who would trample the sacred values of the Tea Party Movement.

NATIONAL TEA PARTY: The Scent of Power!

Often we take our small dog with us on trips in the car and like almost all dogs he loves to put his head out the window. Until the other day I had never really thought about why. Why do all dogs like to put their head out nose into the wind. Sometimes at home he will lay in front of the fan, but it seems no big deal to him. Yesterday, I had one of those "light bulb" moments. Its the scents--he's simply flooded with them as the car moves swiftly down the road. Dozens of new smells each and every second and the car speeds quickly along. It must be a super high for an animal with such a sensitive nose. It's probably too much for his little mind to understand--the thousands and thousands of changing scents. Strangely, this got me to thinking about our new president.

The high Obama must be feeling sensing all the reigns of power he now holds. The tens of thousands of people who rely on him directly for their employment, the hundreds of reporters who eagerly await to be called on by this "great" leader, the dozens of CEO's who tremble when their phone rings fearing it could be the White House issuing them a pink slip, the thousands who are eagerly awaiting an audience with "the one", the millions who await his next words coming from their "magic box", and yes even Chris Matthews awaiting that next wonderful tingle. Yes, Obama has his nose out the window and is getting high on the "Scent of Power", and like my little dog he will not tire of it. Someone will have to pull him away because the intoxication is irresistible, and like the dope addict, the fixes will have to get larger and larger to maintain this ecstasy the man is obviously feeling. So Americans get ready to write Obama bigger checks and get ready to give up more personal liberties. This addict needs it, he has the "Scent of Power".

NATIONAL TEA PARTY: Obama's Utopian Dream!

Recently, I came across a post on Sugar n Spice concerning a  interview Obama gave to "60 Minutes" some time back. In the interview Obama is seen giggling and laughing and is called on it by the reporter, to which he replies "well you need a little gallows humor" or something to that effect. Glad he mentioned hanging and not some conservative---know that would have created something of a fire-storm. Sugar mentioned in her post that Barack looked and acted like he was high---the giggles, laughs, etc. Guess the truth will never be known---his actions did raise some eye-brows, however.

Anyway after reading Sugar's post and viewing the "60 Minutes" video, I got to thinking about by days some years ago and my frequent visits with Maryjane (marijuana). Often I would come in after a long hard day at the office change clothes and go to my friends house. There Tim, my friend, and I would relax and fire-up the old bong and enjoy the sultry Florida evening. During those long (and they were long) evenings we would discuss and solve most of the world's problems. However, I did notice the next day that all the solutions had slipped away and not to be retrieved until our next visit to Maryjanes place. During the trips Tim and I saw somethings differently--I would focus on the small (like looking at the details of the bark on a tree), while my friend would focus on the large (the whole forest and beyond). I was looking to the infinity of the small and he the infinity of the large. He often said, "where the big meets the small there you would find the answer to it all." Tim is gone now, died at the young age of 44. I miss my friend. Enough of the reminiscing, back to Sugar's post on Obama.

While reading Sugar's post I was reminded of Jonahan Swift's, Gulliver's Travels. And 3 of the 4 stories in his satire. The first being the best known of his visit to the land of the Lilliputians---the examination of the small and seemingly petty things in life. And next the visit to the land of the giants (the Brobdingnagians)---holding the magnifying glass up to the world and pointing out the imperfections. And finally, the land of the horses (the Houyhnhnms)---there Gulliver saw the perfection in nature, a Utopia. So as I read Sugar's post I was wondering what Obama was thinking of, if indeed, he was in a cloud of smoke--the Lilliputians, the Brobdingnagians, or the Houyhnhnms. Suddenly, the reality hit me---of course it was the Houyhnhnms! There he would have found his vision of a "Socialist Utopia." The perfect world which all liberals dream of and wish to impose on us all for our own good. Or maybe he sees something more ominous---he is Gulliver and we, well we are the Lilliputians.

NATIONAL TEA PARTY: The Two Faces of Obama!

I generally, like to poke fun at this new occupant of the White House thinking like most that this is only another president and that things will change after the next election. But I'm beginning to face the stark reality that this maniac, this madman, could in just a few years destroy what its taken this country hundreds of years to build. I suppose the final straw for me was the new budget plan. Obama with his twisted understanding of history and his alien social and economic ideals, many of which he learned from the years he spent in the pews of Pastor Wright's church; will in the end not only change this country, as he has promised, but will destroy the very fabric of this great nation. He plan represents a threat far more formidable than any invading army could mount. Great nations generally fall from within, their fate sealed by the common masses who fail to see or understand the onrush of events. Events that are obvious to a few and invisible to the many. Such is the position we find ourselves in now. This man, this misguided fool, must be stopped. I beg, I plead, I pray that each of you raise the alarm---the enemy is not at the gates, but in the house; its not the Russians, its not the terrorist, its not the Iranians--its a charming, likable, young man who wants change. Unfortunately, its a change that will destroy this nation and its way of life. All despots think theirs in the road to greatness for their peoples and this leader is no different. No doubt about it, he is a leader and his followers love and adore him and they wait with eager anticipation for his next words and the next words come and flow over the masses and they believe. They compare him to past great leaders and look to him to provide them with a better life. He promises more and more and the people believe and revel in the changes he trumpets. Changes that will give birth to a new nation, changes for a new millennium. A casting aside of the old order and the establishment of a new Utopian-like society where all the needs of the common man will be met. He tells the masses that our problems are so great that only government can solve them and he will lead us to greatness again. His vision of American is a dark one, remember he sat in Pastor Wright's pews for years and was completely indoctrinated by his message of an "evil and corrupt" nation. He disavowed him when it suited his purpose, but gradually we are seeing his true feeling about the Pastor's teachings emerge.

During the Tea Parties on April 15, which were heralded as tax revolt, a revolt against big government in general, and higher taxes specifically. Those going we urged not to make these events demonstrations against Obama--no he is too popular and we dare not say things against him the elite news organizations will turn those comments on us. Yes, there is a fear, a fear not of the unknown, but a fear of the power of Obama. Ideas like these are not only dangerous, but un-American and an insult to right thinking Americans. We must rip off the mask of this man, we must show him for what he is, now! The Tea Parties will take place, and they must be used to condemn and begin to expose this man. They would be a perfect venue for the beginning of the end for this despotic leader.

Yes, Obama in the end will reveal himself, but by that time it may be too late for this great nation to recover. Help me reveal, help me expose the other face of this great deceiver, this forked tongued snake, this fraud, and this corrupter of the young. We must set the country on a new path, a path to a greater freedom, a path back to the land of Jefferson and Washington and rid ourselves of this new progressivism (liberal fascism) begun with Theodore Roosevelt, Wilson and FDR. This new threat to our freedoms which is sweeping the nation must be stopped and a return to sanity must be restored.

National Tea Party: Meximerica--Enough is Enough!

After hearing they want to sing the National Anthem in Spanish - enough is enough. Nowhere did they sing it in Italian, Polish, Irish (Celtic), German or any other language because of immigration. It was written by Francis Scott Key and should be sung word for word the way it was written. The news broadcasts even gave the translation -- not even close. NOT sorry if this offends anyone because this is MY COUNTRY.

I am not against immigration -- just come through like everyone else. Get a sponsor; have a place to lay your head; have a job; pay your taxes, live by the rules AND LEARN THE LANGUAGE as all other immigrants have in the past -- and GOD BLESS AMERICA!

National Tea Party: The EPA Is The New Political Arm Of The Obama Administration

Obama is attempting to bypass congress and the will of the American people by executive order in giving the EPA new powers that will give them massive control over over all phases of our lives. The cap and trade policies will not be passed by congress, so the intention of the Obama administration is to pass them through the EPA by decree. These proposed standards on green house gases will in fact destroy the economy of the United States. Energy prices will literally go through the roof and businesses large and small will be forced to raise the price of their products or their services to the public. The individual who must pay to heat and cool his home will be forced to pay much more. Consumers will pay more at home, much more. Consumers will pay more everywhere--the grocery store, the movies, the cafe, the fast food places,the gas station, at every turn of our lives the new Obama policies will rob us, will rob us of our lively hood and our children's future. This is not a plan for redistribution, but a road to destruction, a road to total control or perhaps a road to revolution. Yes, Obama's revolution could plunge this country into a new type of civil war, a war between the vast urban areas and the sprawling rural and suburban areas of the country. No north vs south this time. Obama is on a path to a violent revolution not the peaceful revolution he and his fellow-travelers have planned for. This is a dark picture, but sadly one that could materialize.

If you are bothered by occasional or frequent constipation, look in the mirror and repeat the following phrase three times in succession when symptoms occur:

"My financial and personal well being are totally in the hands of Barack Obama, Joe Biden, Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi, Tim Geithner, Rahm Emmanual, Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, and Al Gore"

If that doesn't scare the shit out of you, then you are probably destined to be backed up for the rest of your life.

Lady Liberty's torch is dimmed.

An uglyness is raising it's head.
A seprant is loose and offers up a golden apple,
and the people wait to be fed the wonderous fruit.

The past is dead,
and the multitudes dance on the ghost of yesterday.

Dreamers no longer reflect,
only today and tomorrow have meaning.
A tear flows from Lincoln's stone face,
and the eagle soars not so high.

The usurpers light is bright,
and his star is rising.

National Tea Party: Is it Money or Power that is the Root of All Evil!

Money, "the root of all evil" or is it power thats--"the root of all evil". I think the answer in this case is both, but tilted in favor of power. These buffoons in congress who spend the tarp money, will want us to pat them on the back for building a new road. One we don't need between Podunk and Hog Hill. And a great bridge across Pigee's Creek connecting farmer Hamhock's home on the west bank to his out-house on the east bank. The creek will be a benefit in that the number of foreign bodies floating downstream will be decreased by an estimated 50%, although the over all catfish population may suffer because of their dependence on the floating turds. This has some environmentalist crying foul, the EPA nevertheless has given it stamp of approval. Saying that the benefits out-weigh the downsides. Fisherman upstream from the bridge seem to favor the construction of the bridge, those downstream are dismayed over the prospect of a smaller catch--not in just the quantity, but in the size of the individual fish. Farmer Hamhock is pleased and says," I've always voted Republican in the past, but from now on I'm Obama's man---I finally have a place to put my shi...t" end of quote---we're not completely clear as to what he meant.

National Tea Party: Sands in the Hour Glass

While commenting on an article by James on Right On concerning the Constitution and gun rights I began to think about all the rights I have seen slip away over the years. The following is the comment I left on "Right On":

The constitution is clear on gun ownership rights, but slowly over many years the state and federal governments have steadily and methodically chipped away at those rights as they have with other basic rights that we once had. Rights that the young don't even miss because they never experienced them. Sometime I see our rights, our freedoms, and our liberty's slipping away like sands in the hour glass. Once that freedom, that right is gone it does NOT return. It's gone forever and all the complaining and the moaning will never get it back. As the sands of the hour glass get lower and lower one can more easily see the change--the movement seems quicker although the rate remains the same. It's just that the remaining freedoms and rights are fewer and the loss of even one is sorely missed and more become aware of the approaching emptiness. If we are not careful this emptiness will be filled by something that is totally alien to our American way of life, something that will repress individuality, something that will stifle our remaining values, and something that will crush our children's future.

National Tea Party: Nutty Politics

I recall as a young man I often went into the woods on a cold fall mornings in search of the illusive country squirrel. They were hard to find--guess they knew they were meat for the table (fried squirrel was a treat is those days--no joke!). I do recall one thing about those old country squirrels,especially in the fall, they were always gathering nuts--one after another. I think they knew a hard time was coming.
I'm older now and live in the city. Sad to say, squirrel hunting days are over. I have noticed, however, that the squirrels here (city squirrels) don't gather nuts in the same way as their country cousins did. I'm sure some misguided progressive will say that's because of global warming--warmer winters and the squirrel doesn't have to prepare as much!! This conservative thinks otherwise--the city squirrel knows that even on cold winter days he can go to the park and someone on a nice park bench will give him a nut--or even a handful of them. Are you like the country squirrel--preparing for hard times, or like the city squirrel waiting for the handout from (big government).
