Liberty is Not a Double Edged Sword

THE FOLLOWING IS JUST THE  DISJOINTED RAMBLINGS OF A MADMAN
 OR PERHAPS A RAY OF SANITY IN AN INSANE WORLD.
POLITICIANS WILL TRY TO COMPLICATE THE OBVIOUS AND CAST ASIDE
 WHAT TO ME APPEARS TO BE ONLY COMMON SENSE!

MANY SEE LIBERTY AS A DOUBLE EDGED SWORD, CUTTING BOTH WAYS IN THE FABRIC OF SOCIETY.  AT THE SLIGHTEST SIGN OF RESISTANCE MOST WILL PULL BACK AND SEEK COMPROMISE AND THAT EASIER PATH TOWARD THE ULTIMATE GOAL.  BUT IN THAT COMPROMISE THEY GIVE UP THE RIGHT TO CALL THEMSELVES TRUE PATRIOTS---THE KEEPERS OF THE FLAME OF LIBERTY.  LOOK INWARD AND SEE WHERE YOU STAND IN THIS NEVER ENDING PROTRACTED CONFLICT. THIS STRUGGLE FOR THE HEARTS OF MEN. ARE YOU THAT DEFENDER OF INDIVIDUALISM OR THE ONE WHO WOULD COMPROMISE FOR POLITICAL EXPEDIENCY AND THAT EASIER PATH TO NOWHERE!
