A few of the fence-sitters in the U.S. Senate are already comparing Jeff Flake in someways to Henry Clay, the Great Compromiser of the middle 1800's who gave us the Compromise of 1850. Flake along with his middle-of-the-road co-conspirators in the Senate have forced another delay in the Kavanaugh confirmation process, thereby pushing it closer and closer to the 2018 midterm elections. No Jeff Flake is no Henry Clay, or heaven forbid King Solomon; but instead the one who would split the baby of Biblical times.
""Liberty and freedom are precious and must be fought for and many generations of Americans have answered the call and heard the toll of the Liberty Bell. Now is such a time and ask not for "whom does the bell toll". For those on the greens at Lexington and Concord heard the call and saw the approaching danger in the forms of "Brown Bess" and "Redcoat". And when the smoke had cleared the deaf ear of the oppressor was pierced by "the shot heard round the world".""
